Year 2000 Compliance Statement
Cookie Pal 1.2d and 'Net Pal 1.2a and later versions have been tested for
Year 2000 Compliance and have been found to be Year 2000 Compliant to the
best of our knowledge.
"Year 2000 Compliant" means that when provided with valid date
data (see Provisions below) the software will:
- correctly use, recognize and display dates in and beyond the year
2000.
- correctly handle the rollover of the date from December 31, 1999 to
January 1, 2000.
- recognize the Year 2000 as a leap year.
Provisions
Our software relies on dates obtained from sources external to our own
products, and as such can only function correctly when supplied with valid
date data from these sources. These sources include, but are not limited
to:
- the computer system date and BIOS date.
- dates maintained and displayed by web browsers (such as Internet
Explorer, Netscape and Opera) or other Internet software that
interacts with our products.
Previous versions of Cookie Pal and 'Net Pal
We have not tested versions of Cookie Pal prior to 1.2d or versions of
'Net Pal prior to 1.2a for Year 2000 Compliance. As far as we know there
were no problems with these earlier versions of the software, however we
recommend that all users upgrade to the latest versions of their
product(s). Registered users can upgrade to the latest version of their
product(s) for free by downloading from our web site.
This statement does not constitute a warranty of any kind and is not
intended to alter any existing warranty or license covering Kookaburra
